embroidered family book - in progress
Here are a few images from a gift I am making for a friend. I have made fabric family books before, but this is the first time I am doing it all with stitching. I just have to make the cover and their kitty cat and then I can assemble. I hope my friend doesn't see this blog, since it is a surprise!! - MaryJo www.maryjorosania.com

any contract sewers out there?
Hello Friends,
I've been so busy with the WrapADoodle, the swaddle baby blanket I invented. Word recently came from the US Patent and Trademark Office that my utility patent was approved!
I am bound and determined to keep them being made in the USA, preferably in Pennsylvania. Does anybody know people who do contract sewing? I am also looking for a professional pattern maker experienced in production sewing. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Plymoth Whitemarsh Craft show
Hey all, I'm new to this blog, and I'm very excited to be a part of it! Just wanted to tell everyone to mark their calenders, because Plymouth Whitemarsh high school is having a craft show Feb 6th! It's to benefit their after-prom lock in party (keep the kids off the streets!!) haha.. but anyway, I know fabulous ladies who have done this show before and say it's a pretty cool deal. I've also been told that you can sign up for the show until Jan 28th ...try emailing badhat24@msn.com for more information. So if you can't be involved, come out and see the goodies :)

Will I be added to this directory as well? Or there is a different procedure to apply?
Thank you again,

I'm in stitches!
I made this for a Self Portrait Project through Art House Co-Op -- which, if you don't know, is an awesome way to get some work out there!!

...anywho, it is embroidered with black thread on muslin. Simple.
I just needs an ironing before I send it away.

Holiday Food Gifts
My boyfriend and I made a variety of pickles, sauces, and chutneys to give as Christmas gifts this year. It was a ton of work but was fun, and I love giving handmade gifts. I also made the labels for the jars.

Mushroom Parasol
I've been seriously slacking when it comes to making things lately. But I helped decorate this mushroom parasol...and helped w/ some other odds and ends in the days leading up to the new years day parade. Marching in the parade w/ the Vaudevillains was SO FUN!! Happy new year y'all...
