So finally....upon entering into the Fall season, inspiration and "Intuition" have struck me once again. I rescued these little champagne glasses from one of my favorite thrift stores, Nana's Attic in Broomall. Click Here to read more...
This is my entry for the BRAvo art exhibit to raise money for breast cancer research. =) The bras will be auctioned off at the event: click here for details
This bra is titled "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" and is dedicated to Nancy Poloncarz Francolini, devoted mother, daughter and friend who passed away 2 years ago.
I don't know about you but I LOVE blood orange margaritas, especially the ones from El Vez - YUM! I painted this set of 4 Margarita glasses with a funky orange and burgandy pattern... just in time for the summer cocktail season =)
When I'm finished with this project, it will be a set of 2 funky wine goblets. I'm embellishing the glasses with these cute glass marbles and then giving them to a friend as a gift. =)
I made this little headband with ribbon, buttons and hippie love =) I'll be participating in 2 craft events this holiday season. 1 on Novermber 13 - the West Pharmaceuticals craft fair - open only to their employees. (My sister who works there hooked me up;-) And also an event hosted by Teknion on December 3rd. This event is open to everyone in the Architecture and Design community only. More details to follow... =)
a bunch of hair pins and rings I made for an upcoming craft fair. =) I cut up old greeting cards and funky papers to display them. http://intutionjeanne.blogspot.com
Philly Makes! is a group blog for artists, crafters, designers, and makers of all sorts who live in Philadelphia. Participants commit to create and post one thing per week. A "thing" can be just about anything you might make- a piece of art, a scarf, a bicycle, a website, your dinner, whatever! It can even be a work in progress that you'd like to share and get feedback on!
