So I've finally started some xmas gifts! Here's the first, a reversible purse for a 13 year old girl. Hope she likes it!

Anniversary Year #1 = Paper = Pinata!!
So our one year anniversary was last Friday and I had to come up with something fun. Hence, the pinata! We have a Dachshund who we love so of course the pinata had to be weenie dog shaped. The husband was very surprised and I was thrilled that it hung there ok since it was filled to the brim with peppermint patties.

Waiting for Summer
I've had this pattern and fabric waiting around since last spring. The dismal weather outside led me to finally go through all my UFO's and I finished one! I love it, might hem it a smidge shorter - we'll see. Thank goodness for one less unfinished project and one more dress :)

Fancy
I have a wiener dog who LOVES walks no matter the temperature outside. I never seem to find coats that fit him properly because he doesn't exactly look like other dogs :) So this weekend, Floyd got a fancy new coat! This coat turned out way cuter than I thought it would and was super quick to make too, with a home decor fabric exterior and a nice warm flannel lining. Unfortunately, I did a bad job of measuring and it barely fits around his giant chest... Oh well jacket #2 should be complete tonight - he looks excited right??

Busy busy bee
Wow, I've been busy. Here's a hat and a bag - both finished up last night and both (of course) gifts. I hope to make some for myself soon!!

Keeping the sewing machine warm
My sister's birthday is next month and she travels a lot, so I thought this would be the perfect gift. I love the fabric! They were so quick and easy that I made 4 more for family members' birthdays and Xmas. It's never too early to start Christmas presents... :)
